The Wausau Area Hmong New Year, Inc. will host the Wausau Hmong New Year celebration on November 8-9, 2025 at the Central Wisconsin Convention & Expo Center in Rothschild, WI.

REQUIREMENTS:

The General Show is a non-competitive event. Participants, whether a team or an individual, must bring their music on the day of the event and report to the general show coordinator one hour before their scheduled performance. The New Year Committee reserves the right to adjust the performance schedule based on the dance competition’s timing.

ENTRANCE FEES:

All general show participants will receive FREE entrance to the New Year event on the day of their performance.

I, hereby give my consent to Wausau Area Hmong New Year, Inc. and other associates of Wausau Area Hmong New Year, Inc., to photograph, film, and/or videotape and then use, reproduce, and publish the following images of me and/or my child/children for commercial purposes without expectation of compensation or other remuneration now or in the future

I also acknowledge the risks involved in dancing. These include but are not limited to injuries. By signing below, I forfeit all my rights to bring a suit against the Wausau Area Hmong New Year, Inc. for any reason. In return, I will participate in the New Year and make an effort to obey all safety precautions per event and building protocol.

This agreement releases the Wausau Area Hmong New Year, Inc. from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during my performance at the Wausau Area Hmong New Year. By signing this form, I agree to hold the Wausau Area Hmong New Year, Inc. free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.
